Many Community Colleges throughout the U.S. have workshops and/or support groups for the Non-Traditional Student – whether you have taken the leap to enroll or not. There is no obligation to enroll in the college if you attend a workshop. Community Colleges understand that it may take a while to make your decision.

For instance, the “Know How 2 Go” workshop at East Georgia College (a Community College) provides information to assist in the decision-making, e.g. time management, student loan and grant information, enrollment tips and deadlines, and so on. Other schools, from coast to coast, also offer workshops.
